Keeping the kingdom of God first….

Matthew 6:33

But seek first the kingdom of Yahweh and His righteousness, and all these things will be added to you.

When I seek the kingdom, I am seeking a place that is not of the world. Nothing about it represents the world. A place where there is no more tears, pain or suffering. I seek it with every breath in me because I believe He sent His only begotten son for me and is coming again according to John 14:3; And if I go and prepare a place for you, I am coming again and will receive you to Myself, that where I am you may also be.

I seek His righteousness = His character/ His way because He makes me righteous, and I know without Him, I am nothing. Isaiah 64:6 But we are all as the unclean things, and all OUR righteousness is as a menstruation cloth. And we all fade as a leaf, and like the wind our iniquities take us away.

Keeping Him first is my desire for my family. It is a road that leads us to the narrow gate. I know if we keep Him first, He will answer our every need. He will take us places this world could never offer. He tells us all these will be added to us in Matthew 6:31-32; Then do not be anxious, saying, what may we eat? Or what may we drink? Or what may clothe us? For after all these things the nations seek. For you heavenly Father knows that you have need of all these things.  Then in Matthew 6:34 He tells us do not be anxious for tomorrow. For tomorrow will be anxious of itself. Sufficient to each day is its own trouble.

This is how we should pray the Fathers will for our lives daily….

Our Father, who art in heaven, hallowed be Thy Name. Thy Kingdom comes. Thy will be done on earth, as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread. And forgive us our trespasses, as we forgive those that trespass against us. And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil. For Thine is the kingdom, The power, and the glory, for ever and ever. Amen
